Area Manager (m/w/d)

In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations across Outbound, Inbound and Delivery. Your responsibilities will include people management, health and safety, workforce scheduling, and ensuring efficient processes and continuous improvement. Your Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of warehouse employees and Team Leaders to achieve operational targets.

• Monitor workflows, productivity and quality to ensure operational efficiency and timely order processing.

• Collaborate with central teams to ensure compliance with internal standards and safety regulations.

• Analyse KPIs and implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce costs.

• Foster an engaged, motivated and high-performing team culture.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable labour laws and regulations.

• Resolve operational challenges and implement sustainable, long-term solutions.

What You Bring to the Table

• A completed degree in Logistics or a comparable qualification, ideally specialising in warehouse management, shipping, freight forwarding, supply chain or operations.

• Several years of leadership experience managing at least 40 employees within a logistics company such as Amazon, DHL, UPS or GLS.

• Fluency in both German and English.

• Knowledge of project management.

• Strong communication skills, a proactive mindset and a well-organised approach to work.

• Flexibility to work between 6:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m., Monday to Saturday (5-day working week).
