IT Manager – Warehouse Automation Infrastructure

We are looking for an experienced IT Manager – Warehouse Automation Infrastructure to join our team and lead the design, implementation, and support of IT infrastructure for warehouse automation systems. This is a critical senior-level position requiring a hands-on expert who thrives at the intersection of automation, IT, and operations.

You will work closely with our Automation, Infrastructure, and Software teams to design scalable systems, coordinate on-site implementations, and ensure high availability of key automation platforms across our logistics network.

What You Will Be Doing

1. Design & Planning & Project Management

• Design and source IT infrastructure for automation systems

• Plan and install network switches, servers for WMS & subsystems

• Coordinate electric cabling from main switch cabinets to automation components

• Ensure secure and authorized access to databases, virtual machines, and VPN

• Support integration with Rohlik software systems

2. On-Site Implementation & Support

• Coordinate and support new automation deployments on-site

• Lead connection and go-live support for AutoStore installations and extensions

• Review and improve existing automation IT infrastructure

• Provide on-the-ground presence during critical automation system rollouts

3. Operations & Training

• Train new automation technicians to ensure ongoing operational excellence

• Define and manage SLA agreements with subcontractors and sub-supplier

What We Expect From You

• 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure roles, ideally in an automation or logistics environment

• Solid knowledge of networks, servers, VPNs, VMs, and industrial IT systems

• Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and automation subsystems

• Proven ability to lead on-site deployments and provide technical support

• Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills

• Ability to train, mentor, and share knowledge with local teams

• Willingness to travel frequently for on-site implementations and go-live support
