Android/KMP Developer

Detail job description

• Collaborate within an agile, cross-functional team (ShapeUp) that includes frontend (web/mobile) and backend engineers, product designers, product owners and QA.

• Plan, develop, test, and launch new features and experiments using Kotlin Multiplatform

• Mentor other team members through pair / team programming, code reviews, and ad-hoc assistance.

• Engage with engineers throughout the department to discover and enhance our processes and systems collaboratively.

Requirements

• At least 5 year of experience in software development

• Proficiency in Kotlin.

• Knowledge of Android platform including Android architecture components and Jetpack Compose

• Experience in writing tests

• Experience with Kotlin Multiplatform is highly appreciated

• Interest in Android app performance tuning

• Interest in setting-up CI/CD pipelines welcomed

• The ability to collaborate with Product Designers and Product Owners to deliver customer-oriented experiences.

• Experience working on larger projects and with continuous development.

• 5+ years of experience in a commercial environment.

• A pragmatic engineering approach that avoids over-engineering solutions and maintains high-quality code in a delivery-focused setting.

• A results-driven mindset that efficiently minimizes unnecessary complexity in solutions and demonstrates proficiency in preserving superior code quality within a delivery-focused work environment.

• Knowledge of Czech and English language
