Legal Counsel

We provide legal support not only to HQ functions, but also to our operational teams - from warehouses to logistics - and we strive to create consistent legal standards and processes across the Rohlik Group.
Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated Legal Counsel with a solid legal experience, ideally gained in a law firm or in-house legal department. This is a versatile role for a legal professional ready to engage with various areas of law relevant to a fast-paced e-commerce business.
What will be your key responsibilities:
Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of contracts (supplier agreements, B2B/B2C terms, marketing, IT, logistics, etc.).
Advising on corporate, commercial, and consumer law matters.
Supporting the business in legal areas such as data protection, intellectual property, e-commerce regulation, and competition law.
Monitoring legislative developments relevant to our operations and advising on their impact.
Ensuring the company responds to regulators and other authorities on time, with legally sound and factually accurate information.
Coordinating with external legal advisors where necessary.
Contributing to internal legal standards, knowledge sharing, and process improvement.
What experience should you have:
Master’s degree in law from a Czech university.
3 to 7 years of relevant legal experience in a law firm or as in-house counsel (international exposure is an advantage).
Strong knowledge of Czech civil, commercial, and procedural law, with the ability to independently draft and interpret legal documents.
Legal research proficiency, including experience with legal databases and identifying relevant case law and legal commentary.
Awareness of legislative developments and ability to apply regulatory changes in a business context.
Proven ability to manage projects and tasks independently, ensuring timely delivery.
High proficiency in MS Office (especially Word), working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint, and strong skills in Google Workspace.
Ability to prioritize, manage multiple legal issues simultaneously, and perform under pressure.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Eagerness to learn, openness to new technologies, and adaptability to
change.Fluent Czech and advanced English are required; proficiency in German or
another language is an advantage.A team player who values a friendly and informal team atmosphere and
