Now we’re looking for a Head of Food Safety & Quality to make sure that every Kifli box delivers what we promise – fresh food people can trust.

You’ll lead the national quality agenda, make sure our standards meet the highest food safety expectations, and work with passionate teams to keep our customers happy – every single day.

What you’ll do

As Head of Food Safety & Quality, you’ll lead the QA agenda across Hungary and make sure that everything our customers receive meets the highest standards of food safety, freshness, and compliance.

You’ll combine your expertise in food quality with leadership skills to guide the team, improve processes, and bring our Group standards to life locally.

• Define and deliver the local QA strategy aligned with Group goals and country specifics

• Ensure full compliance with local and EU food legislation, Group standards, and certifications

• Lead and develop the QA team across fulfilment centres

• Oversee supplier audits, product evaluations, and corrective actions

• Manage product compliance processes, including private label and labelling requirements

• Act as the main link between local operations and Group Quality experts, ensuring smooth communication both ways

• Represent Kifli in front of authorities, inspection bodies, and trade associations

• Monitor and report quality KPIs, identifying areas for improvement

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and implementation of new QA tools

• Collaborate closely with Operations, Commercial, HR, and Finance to maintain top product quality and customer trust

What we look for

You’re an experienced quality leader who knows what it takes to keep food safe, processes compliant, and customers happy. You combine a strategic mindset with hands-on drive – and you’re not afraid to dive deep when needed.

We’d love to meet you if you have:

• A university degree in food technology, quality management, or a related field

• 5+ years of experience in food quality assurance or food safety

• Solid knowledge of HACCP, food safety systems, and QA regulations

• Experience in leading teams and managing cross-functional projects

• Confidence in data analysis and reporting

• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

• Ability to stay calm in crisis and think long-term

• Fluency in Hungarian and advanced English (spoken & written)
